2021 Festival Update

Hey Folks,

Hope you’re keeping safe, sound, and high spirited.

When things unraveled last year we were optimistic that the Covid situation would simmer down enough that the summer of ’21 would be a Festival Year. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.

So, to cut right to the chase, there won’t be a Wild Oats and Notes Festival this year. Although this news is disappointing and sad to share, we are looking to host our next festival from June 30th to July 2nd, 2022.

We’re more committed than ever to ensuring that the Tofield School Jam Club we help  support continues to thrive. As many of you know, the program plays a vital part in educating and fostering a love of music in the next generation. 100% of donations go directly to the Jam Club program! If you see fit to donate, you can find more info here.

That’s all for now.

Stay Positive, Test Negative.

Brian.

School Music Program Donations!

Hey Folks!

It has been a while since our last update!

We want to let everyone know how much we appreciate your support and understanding in the weeks following the cancellation of the 2020 Wild Oats and Notes Music Festival.

We also wanted to update you on the School music program that Wild Oats and Notes helps to support. As you may know, the School Music Program gives Tofield students an avenue to explore and develop their musical skills. Part of the proceeds from every Wild Oats and Notes Festival goes towards supporting the program and we’re hoping to keep that tradition alive even in the absence of a festival.

If you’re interested in helping us support the School Music Program you can donate here . 100% of donations will go directly to the program!

Stay Safe everyone!

Wild Oats and Notes 2020 Cancellation.

Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the cancellation of the 2020 Wild Oats & Notes Music Festival. Given the uncertainty of the current public health situation, and the logistics inherent in putting on the festival, we feel we have no other choice.

We’re planning to reschedule the festival for late June of 2021 with as much of the same lineup as possible.

More information will be forthcoming regarding refunds, and opportunities to donate to the school music program. As always, we appreciate your support and understanding.

Stay safe, stay healthy and we hope to see you in 2021.

Best

Brian Schultz & the Wild Oats & Notes family

Covid-19 Update

Howdy Folks!

We wanted to update everyone on how Covid-19 has affected our festival and how we’re looking to proceed!

The Wild Oats and Notes team has been engaged in Covid-19 talks throughout this past week and we’ve been monitoring the situation. The situation is changing at a pretty rapid pace – so we’re focused on responding to the situation as it is now.

The Festival has NOT been canceled. We can’t predict how things will look over the next few days or weeks, but as of right now we’re hoping that we’ll be able to proceed.

If you have already purchased tickets to the festival – worry not. In the event that the festival is cancelled due to Covid-19 we will be issuing refunds.

Patrons who have bought tickets will have the option to donate part or all of their refund to our School Music Program. The program is one of the shining lights of the Festival and we’d love to continue funding it for future generations of young musicians. However, these donations are optional, not required.

We’re going to keep watching the situation unfold and continue to make the most informed decisions possible. We’re also going to continue to look out for the health and safety of our guests, our artists, and our volunteers.

Stay tuned for updates, keep those paws washed, and stay indoors when and if ya can.
